mate? hard drive failure? you do realise all you would have to do was get a laptop hdd and replace the old one with a working one? then probs stick the software updates on it the hdd is removable easily

granted you will lose the lot but the console should theoretically work again unless its not hdd failure and something else

Slims are awful! I'm on my 4 or 5th unit. Even if they did replace yours, you only get 3m warrenty, but with the trouble i've had the warrenty hasn't been worth jack! Of those 4-5 only 1 was replaced for FREE ****s!

I work in a bike shop and we just give them out if people need them, i'm sure Halfords or your local bike shop can give you one, if not for a small fee.
