Bought a 16yo Nissan Micra. I've rang up My (Now Ex) Insurance Company to ask them to simply change the Vehicle details and what they quoted me was positively extortionate. How can they quote one nice price online then tell you a completely different one over the phone. I've always preferred doing it over the phone because of my probably irrational fear of a policy either not going through online or getting a phone call saying it's more than they quoted.
