Confirmed today , new block needed for car :( , its a top end noise but dont know what causing it , neither do ford could get a new top end but not worth the risk it happening again?

depends on your ethics with cars.
I always refuse to let my car die no matter how bad the problem is or the cost. she's an old bat but I love her to bits and I will own her till she crumbles into a pile of rusty dust. when ive saved up the cash im doing a full body restore with an engine conversion and attaching a genuine ford RS mk4 Zender bodykit because not many ppl put that much into a mk4!
so depending how you see your car determines if its worth all risks to get her ba...

make a relocation kit :) can do it for much less than the mountune system and you'll actually prevent it not just slow it down :)
